Runscope Featured Guest Series
Help us create an incredible resource of blog posts about APIs, microservices, DevOps, and QA.
We're always searching for writers that want to share their knowledge about a variety of topics related to software development and APIs. If you have the technical expertise and a gift for explaining things to others, we'd love to hear from you!
You don't have to be an experienced writer to apply. Your experience, knowledge, and ideas about the topic you want to share are more important to us. We can work with you during writing and editing process to make your blog post even better!
Become a Featured Guest writer in our blog, sharpen your writing skills, help spread knowledge, and get paid!
What are we looking for?
We're pretty open in the topics we're looking for, as long as it's an interesting story or tutorial. If you go through our blog, you can see we have tutorials about new technologies or frameworks, and we also have stories focused on culture and architecture decisions.
For example, here are two guest posts we recently published:
- "You Might Not Need GraphQL" by Phil Sturgeon
- "Monolith to Microservices: Transforming a web-scale, real-world e-commerce platform using the Strangler Pattern" by Kristen Womack
Here is a list of general topics we would like to see:
- Performance Management
Who are we looking for?
You! In all seriousness, we are looking for people who are passionate about a certain technology, or maybe just learned something cool about a framework they work with and want to write a tutorial and share it with the world.
If you have published a blog post in the past, that's great! But, if you haven't, don't worry! We would still love to see a writing sample, and you can add that in the "Extra Information" box in the submission form. Writing and publishing your first blog post might be scary, and we'd love to help guide you through it.
What's in it for you?
First of all, you get to share with your friends that you're a "published writer"! We can also help you get more people viewing and reading your blog post by sharing it with our readers, and you will have someone to help you write and edit your blog post so it's top-notch quality.
You'll also get paid! We are currently offering $500 for each blog post.
What's in it for us?
The business-side of it is: we get more readers to our blog, which helps us get more brand awareness, which helps us get new users, and they hopefully turn into paying customers.
The human-side of it is: we get to meet and work with new people every month who want to share their knowledge with others. We can help them become better writers, and we can learn and grow from the experience.
Ready to start writing?
